SWG Portfolio Plugin

Written By: on March 3, 2015 plugin r2 c1

Previously, I was not able to find a portfolio plugin that would allow for dynamic sorting of portfolio items by category. I noticed this during the building of the first version of my portfolio website. Gallery plugins power most WordPress portfolios. These do not have the level of dynamic sorting I was looking for. I released the first version of my plugin in 2012 but it did not support responsive themes.

My plugin fully supports adding categories and a thumbnail that represent each category.  This allows for sorting per category on the fly.  I have my categories set for technical classifications as most of my clients are web development and marketing companies. These categories can be set based on the most likely interest of your website visitor.  The advantage of setting up this sorting model is that it always allows the visitor to see only the portfolio information that interests him or her.
